Dental Assistant
A Dental Assistant mainly assists the dentist during the procedure by handing over the required instruments. They prepare the treatment room following proper procedures and protocols which includes welcoming, comforting, seating and draping the patient. They provide relevant information to patients and employees like answering questions and requests.

• Communicating with patients and preparing them for examination and/or surgery
• Setting up equipment and instruments
• Sterilization and cleaning of surgical instruments and equipment
• Arranging equipment and instruments
• Preparing materials and equipment required for making casts, impressions and restorations
• Taking care of pre, intra and post surgical activities
• Assisting Dentist in patient examination and surgery
• Front office clerical work
• Laboratory work
Eligibility Criteria :
10th or 12th passed from a recognized board (or equivalent) is the minimum educational qualification required.
Duration :
Course duration could be anywhere between 1 to 3 months.
